About

Nearly three decades after the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Bosnia and Herzegovina still grapples with the legacies of war, ethnic division, and fragile institutions. To mark the anniversary of this landmark accord, we invite you to a special fireside chat with former U.S. Ambassador Eric Nelson, who played a pivotal role in engaging with the country during a critical phase of its post-war development.

Drawing on his first-hand experiences in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ambassador will reflect on the promise and limitations of Dayton, the challenges of building lasting peace, and the country’s complex path toward Euro-Atlantic integration. The conversation will also address the current political climate, rising tensions, and the prospects for reform and stability in the years ahead.

This is a unique opportunity to gain insider insights into the making of peace and the unfinished work of democratization in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
