Poetry and Discussion on the Topic of Kosovar "Guest-Workers" in Germany

Speaker: Elona Beqiraj, author and curator

    • The evening explores questions of migration, invisibility, and the silences surrounding post-migrant memory. A particular focus is placed on the lived experience of Beqiraj’s father, whose story serves as both a personal entry point and a representative voice for many untold ‘guest-worker’ narratives.
    • The event weaves together historical input, poetry readings, and multimedia material—including family photographs and recorded interviews—to reflect on literature’s role as an archive of marginalized experience.
